A small crowd gathered last night at Lower Hutt’s Little Theatre to watch the last show of the popular play A Stage of One’s Own, a theatre festival empowering all to identify with gender freely. One of the directors, Sabrina Martin and curator Bop Murdoch from Pat-A-Cake Productions, talk about how A Stage of One’s Own showcases four emerging directors’ debut work towards taking responsibility for improving gender-equality.
