Medical Student and Miss World NZ Deborah Lambie - it has a huge impact on people’s lives

Otago University medical student and Miss World NZ Deborah Lambie who flew in specially to join Bike the Bridge talks about what the event means to her “It’s very special to be coming to this event. As a medical student I have met a lot of people affected by this condition. 4000 New Zealanders are affected by it. One in four of them are men, so three times more women are affected by this disease than men, and it really has a huge impact on people’s lives, a huge impact on people’s families and it’s great today that we can be doing something together to help these people that are affected. I really hope that through these events and through sharing these stories that more will be done about multiple sclerosis”
