NZ First leader Winston Peters - the challenge is to move to other sources

NZ First leader Winston Peters talks on the Global Climate Change meeting in Paris. "It’s difficult to exaggerate the importance of this meeting. Anybody from the Pacific Islands knows what I mean. This is a chance for the global community to agree to act decisively on climate change. Ladies and Gentleman, since the industrial revolution economic activity and growth has been always linked to fossil fuel use in particular coal and oil. We now know this must change, if human society is to drastically cut carbon emissions and curb global warming. Globally the challenge is to move to other sources of energy and adapt our economy to those energy sources. I don’t know how many aeroplane seats Mr Groser has worn out or fridge hinge doors he has weakened, going to conference, after conference after conference, and what has he done? Nothing!”
