Paid Parental Leave Bill laid to rest

"The US have misled this court” Dotcom legal team

On Monday, Kim Dotcom’s lawyer Ron Mansfield began giving evidence as to why the men shouldn’t be turned over to the US. For Mr Mansfield, the US have breached their duty of candour. “The United States has failed to articulate in any way where its evidence has come from." Mr Mansfield also said that the New Zealand Copyright Act actually prevented any protection of “internet service providers” from being prosecuted for the copyright breaches of their clients. If New Zealand had asked for Kim Dotcom to be extradited from the United States, authorities there would have declined, the tech mogul’s lawyer said.
