WA man charged over wigged attack on mother with baby

Police have charged a 62-year-old man with indecently assaulting a a Perth mother as she walked her 15-month-old son along Champion Lakes near Armadale on Tuesday afternoon. 

Anneleise, 23, told Nine News Perth she was walking along the lake with her son and two dogs around 3.30pm when the man tried to drag her into the bushes, but she managed to break free.

Police claimed the man was wearing a wig at the time.

A Champion Lakes man will front Armadale Magistrates Court on September 19 charged with deprivation of liberty, an act likely to endanger the life, health or safety of another person and aggravated indecent assault.
