The Tui Catch-A-Million competition has its first winner and he made it look easy.

Blackcaps opener Martin Guptill smashed a maximum off the last ball of the first over of the third ODI against Pakistan in Dunedin.

Guptill's six flew over the midwicket boundary and the ball landed firmly and cleanly in the right hand of the lucky gentleman wearing his Tui shirt.

The unnamed winner will scoop NZ$50,000 for the one-handed effort - the first of the 2017/18 season.

"It hasn't really sunk in yet, I can't believe I caught it," the winner told Sky Sports.

Due to a broadcast rights agreement with Sky Television, Newshub can't post the video of the catch until the end of the New Zealand innings.
