At the time, the WWE in a statement had said, "WWE terminated its contract with Terry Bollea (aka Hulk Hogan). WWE is committed to embracing and celebrating individuals from all backgrounds as demonstrated by the diversity of our employees, performers and fans worldwide."
It has been almost two years since the Hall of Famer was fired from the company. The legend has since made it known that he is still interested in having another run at the company.
"If it's meant to be, its meant to be. To make peace with the wrestling world, that would be pretty a cool ending," he previously told Good Morning America and added that he would love to fight Vince McMahon.

"You never know what might happen but I know Hulk still loves the WWE and everyone up there, like me too, and I'm grateful to still be doing stuff with them and doing stuff with the Hulkster."
When asked how Hogan is doing at the moment, Hart said: "Well first of all The Hulkster has been great, we were in LA a couple of weeks ago for a couple of shows. Then we went to San Francisco for a couple of shows and a business meeting. I went to Las Vegas Cauliflower Alley for the WWE of course, but Hulk is doing great."
