Australian Nick Kyrgios has inevitably caught the eye of Andre Agassi who believes the 21-year-old has a bright future in the game willing he can get a handle on his emotions.

It's been a a pretty spectacular month for Kyrgios who gave Roger Federer a run for his money at the Miami Masters before securing a semi-final Davis Cup win for Australia with two very convincing performances.

Despite those displays, the doubters are still there with Agassi hopingK yrgios can prove them wrong.

"Give Nick time to be clear about his emotions about the game, because he has talent to win, but he will not win to the level he could until he understands his purpose in the tracks," Agassi told MARCA Claro.

"It takes a lot of consistency and, when you have that roller coaster of emotions, it's hard to do for a long time.

"If I'm not mistaken, he has recognised that he does not like tennis, so I give him credit for knowing himself better than I knew then, because I would have liked to know it before."

Kyrgios is currently ranked 15th in the world and has won 16 of his 20 games played so far this year.
