Just days after announcing his shock move to Sydney, Cooper Cronk has set his future in stone by signing a two-year deal with Fox Sports.

The deal was inevitable, with Cronk's decision to move north influenced by his fiancee Tara Rushton -who isalready an established personality at the company.

Fox head of live sport Steve Crawley said Cronk would excel in the media.

β€œHe’s an absolute star in the making, and out of all the people playing the game right now, nobody will make a better transition to sports television than Cooper Cronk,’’ Crawley told The Daily Telegraph .

Cronk is a fantastic addition to the heavily stocked Fox Sports panel including Matthew Johns, Andrew Voss, Warren Smith, Gorden Tallis, Nathan Hindmarsh, Brian Fletcher, Mal Meninga and Kevin Walters just to name a few.

Channel Nine is struggling to keep up with the revamped pay-tv network.
