Just days after announcing his shock move to Sydney, Cooper Cronk has set his future in stone by signing a two-year deal with Fox Sports.

The deal was inevitable, with Cronk's decision to move north influenced by his fiancee Tara Rushton -who isalready an established personality at the company.

Fox head of live sport Steve Crawley said Cronk would excel in the media.

“He’s an absolute star in the making, and out of all the people playing the game right now, nobody will make a better transition to sports television than Cooper Cronk,’’ Crawley told The Daily Telegraph .

Cronk is a fantastic addition to the heavily stocked Fox Sports panel including Matthew Johns, Andrew Voss, Warren Smith, Gorden Tallis, Nathan Hindmarsh, Brian Fletcher, Mal Meninga and Kevin Walters just to name a few.

Channel Nine is struggling to keep up with the revamped pay-tv network.
