Floyd Mayweather has offered to coach fallen UFC star Ronda Rousey, despite her previous constant criticism of his life.

Rousey's fighting career appears in limbo after suffering her second consecutive loss against Amanda Nunes at UFC 207.

But Mayweather believes he can improve her stand-up fighting game and is willing to put her past jibes about his domestic violence conviction behind him.

"I'll work with her if she's willing to work with me," Mayweather told TMZ.

"I want Ronda Rousey to hold her head up high and don't let (the defeat) discourage her.

"If you need help as far as with boxing, I'm here to help you. It's all about timing and inches. Her ground game is unbelievable. She'll be OK."
