And when the Triple M crew gave him a microphone and asked him the question, he let fly.

On two different occasions over the last week, former Broncos an Origin centre Justin Hodges has used his spot on Fox Sports to bag Hayne.

Hodges said Hayne had a bad attitude and was "infectious" for the Titans.

After scoring two tries as the Titans pummelled the Knights on Saturday, Hayne responded.

"I guess he's in the media now and I think he's forgot his past," Hayne told Triple M.

"He had plenty of carry-on in him as well.

"Days like today when they want to say things or carry on on TV, you know actions speak louder than words.

"You see a team today that's playing for each other, that have generally got a good vibe with each other.

"Those speak louder than anything that anyone could ever say."

Hayne said he didn't want to get into an argument with Hodges.

"I don't want to go in a to-and-fro match with Hodges," he said.

"I've got a lot of respect for him and he was a great player.

"I don't want to get in a slinging match with the Paul Kents or the Hodges. I'm just going to come out here and play football.

"If they think that things are going on in the team, look at the scoreboard. You tell me what you see."
