World number one Lydia Ko fired a one-under par round of 70 Saturday to lead the field heading into the final round of the KPMG Women's PGA Championship.

The 19-year old Kiwi lies one shot ahead of the field at two under as she aims for a third straight major title.

Brittany Lincicome and Gerina Piller were tied for second at one under, while early leader Canada's Brooke Henderson lies one shot further back at even par, along with Sweden's Anna Nordqvist, Thailand's Ariya Jutanugarn, and South Korea's Mirim Lee, Chella Choi and Amy Yang.

The tour's form player Jutanugarn, who has won the past three LPGA Tour events, shot a three-under 68 on Sunday to move into contention.

Ko said she would be concentrating on her own game and try to have fun as she heads into the final round.

"Going into Evian and ANA I just had very calm thoughts, very positive thoughts, to the final round," she said.

"I just said hey, just go out and enjoy it, and don';t worry about what everybody else does. Just focus on the shot you need to hit," she added.

"That's all I can do, just try my best and have fun. I can't control what somebody else does so it's important for me to focus on my game."
