© Provided by Sportal com au Tui Lolohea's hopes of moving to Leichhardt this season have hit a roadblock with the Warriors denying him an early release.

The 22-year-old is currently stuck in reserve-grade and is keen to return to the top flight and join Luke Brooks in the Tigers halves for the remainder of the 2017 season.

However, New Zealand have him in their future plans and are unwilling to let him go until they find an appropriate replacement.

"He's contracted with us until the end of 2018 and until we're ready and found a suitable replacement he will remain with the Warriors," Warriors development management Tony Iro told the NZ Herald.

The Warriors are set to bring Te Maire Martin back home from the Panthers before the June 30 deadline which could help Lolohea's chances.
