The Brit and Pac Man have long been linked with going toe to toe in what would be highly-anticipated clash of two of the biggest stars in boxing.

And last night both parties confirmed terms have now been agreed.

Pacquiao tweeted: "Negotiations between team Pacquiao and team Khan have come to terms for the April 23 bout as this is what the fans wanted."

Khan added: "My team an I have agreed terms with Manny Pacquiao and his team for a super fight"

Khan, 30, was confident of fighting Pacquiao two years after the eight-weight world champion pulled out of a proposed clash between the pair.

However he had been waiting on WBO welterweight king Pacquiao to sign his end of the deal to make the fight happen.

The United Arab Emirates has been mooted as a possible venue, while Khan's team believe they could tempt Pacquiao to the Macron Stadium.

But Khan's wife said on Twitter that the bout has been confirmed to take place on April 23rd in Dubai.

Khan's team, which has been boosted by the return of Asif Vali, spoke to Arum last month when they were in Las Vegas for Carl Frampton's defeat to Leo Santa Cruz.

Khan's initial plan was to have a tune-up fight following hand surgery in the wake of his brutal KO by Saul 'Canelo' Alvarez, but he would jump at the chance to fight Pacquiao, who was his training partner at Freddie Roach's Wildcard gym in Los Angeles.
