Sky Sports News HQ understands Sharapova's anti-doping tribunal, taking place in London, is expected to conclude on Thursday afternoon.

A three-man panel of legal and scientific experts are not expected to announce their findings for another two weeks.

Sharapova tested positive for the substance meldonium earlier this year.

The former world No 1 admitted she had been unaware meldonium had been added to the banned list on January 1.

Russian tennis chief Shamil Tarpishchev said he believed Sharapova's career may be over.
