Tigers snap up young gun

© Provided by Sportal com au The revolving door that is Wests Tigers is continuing to swing with the club announcing the signing of promising 20-year-old Alex Twal.

Twal spent his junior days with Parramatta City Titans and was named in the 2016 Holden Cup Team of the Year after a stellar season with the Eels squad. 

He's also no stranger to the representative arena having played for the Junior Kangaroos and Under 20's Blues.

Twal will join the Tigers for pre-season training towards the end of 2017 with Cleary excited about what he can bring to the club.

"Alex has experienced great success as a junior and is a player of true potential," Cleary told the Wests official website.

"We look forward to Alex being a strong part of the future here at Wests Tigers."

Twal's signing comes less than 24 hours after word that Ava Seumanufagai would be departing the club for Cronulla at season's end.
