Watch Mexico score beautiful Barcelona-style team goal in friendly win against New Zealand

When you were considering what to do with yourself during this international break, watching Mexico vs New Zealand probably wasn't near the top of the list.

One look at the clip above will make you wish you had.

The friendly in Tennessee - which saw Mexico secure a fairly routine 2-1 win against the Kiwis - wasn't all that interesting. However, the Mexico winner you can see in the video most definitely was.

After 56 minutes, Jesus Gallardo plays a square ball across the edge of the box towards Oribe Peralta.

Peralta dummies the ball, letting it run through to Marco Fabian.

Fabian then plays a first-time through ball to Peralta, who returns the favour with a beautiful pull-back to Fabian… who slots it home.

It sounds simple - and it is. That's the beauty of it. Have a look and you will see that this is the perfect bit of tiki-taka. It could be Iniesta, Messi and Suarez you're watching.

The ball never leaves the floor. The passing is one-touch and crisp. The movement is brilliant. The execution is spot-on.

And we imagine it will have one particular Premier League manager purring with delight.

Isn't that right, Pep?
