If your pet peeve in hotels is loud neighbours, then the Central Hotel in Copenhagen may just be your dream location. Nestled in the heart of the city's vibrant Vesterbro neighbourhood, this tiny hotel only has one room available to book!

Situated just above the hotel's café - which happens to be the smallest one in the Danish capital - the room has all the amenities you'd expect including a double bed, a bathroom with a shower, a fully-stocked mini bar, a flat screen television and even a stereo where you can plug in your iPhone.

Celebrating something special? You can even arrange to have a bottle of champagne or a box of chocolates ready in your room when you arrive!

As a bonus, if you book the room you also get access to two bicycles, perfect for going out and exploring the city, or taking part in one of the popular cycling tours which take you around all of the biggest sights from The Little Mermaid statue to the city's lakes.

Foodies will also be spoiled for choice. Whether they're looking for a hearty breakfast to kick off the day or want to have a long lunch after a morning, the café below the room is popular with locals, and often hailed as a hidden gem by tourists who wander in for a sandwich or iconic Danish pastry.

More interested in Copenhagen's world-famous nightlife? It's only a short distance to the old meat packing district which is full of clubs, cafés, bars and restaurants.

Thanks to its boutique feel and the fact that you're the only guest, the Central Hotel isn't necessarily the cheapest accommodation available in the city, with the room costing around €280 (roughly £242 at the time of publication) a night.
