It seems a declaration of love isn't enough for Australian audiences who made two ABC shows ratings winners on Wednesday night, beating three reality shows including The Bachelor.

The clever Gruen team, who dissect the world of advertising, created the most watched show on Australian TV on Wednesday night after the news, according to OzTAM's overnight TV ratings.

Just behind them was another ABC show, Anh's Brush With Fame, during which comedian and painter Anh Do painted and chatted with The Living Room and WSFM presenter Amanda Keller.

Both shows proved a bigger draw over Nikki's declaration of love for Bachelor Richie (Ten), and more than Married At First Sight (Nine) and The Block (Nine).

Ten's flagship drama Offspring also dropped out of the top ten to number 17 with 638,000 viewers.
