Accused cocaine kingpin John Touma is expected to face a committal hearing on the Gold Coast on Monday.

The former Eastern Suburbs Roosters rugby league forward didn't comment to waiting media as he left the Southport Magistrates Court on Thursday, where his matter was stood over until next week.

Touma is accused of heading a syndicate that supplied cocaine to a host of former and current NRL players, having been charged as part of a Crime and Corruption Commission investigation into the alleged drug ring.
