Australia A beat India A by three wickets on the final day of their four-day quadrangular series match at Allan Border Field in Brisbane.

The start of play was delayed on Sunday due to a wet outfield, after play was abandoned on Saturday due to rain.

Once resumed, Australia A chased down the remaining 100 runs needed to reach the 159-run target set by India A, with opening batsman Cameron Bancroft top scoring with an unbeaten 58 off 151 balls to seal the win.

Tasmania's Beau Webster scored 30 off 87 balls, before being trapped lbw by Varun Aaron.

Australia A Captain Peter Handscomb was named player of the match following his first innings performance of 87 runs off 93 balls.

The second of the two four-day matches at Allan Border Field will begin on Thursday.
