A man at the centre of a 36-hour siege in central Queensland has been taken to hospital after surrendering to police.

He had barricaded himself into a house in Oregon Court armed with a knife and fuel.

Police revoked the emergency situation at 11am on Thursday, shortly after the man surrendered.
