Chrissy Teigen admits to opening a superstar's mail: 'Yeah, Rihanna, you owe $18 to Bugatti'

Message to Rihanna: Submit a change-of-address form to your local post office immediately.

Chrissy Teigen has been opening your mail.

Yep, that's right, the 30-year-old revealed to Ellen DeGeneres that she has been committing a US federal offence ever since she recently moved into Rihanna's old LA home.

"I never in my life thought I'd be cool enough to have a Rihanna pad, ever," said Chrissy, who lives there with her husband John Legend and their six-month-old daughter Luna.

We're already jealous, but apparently, living in digs previously belonging to the 'Umbrella' singer comes with at least one less-than-legal perk.

"The one fun thing that does happen every once in a while is I get a bill of hers, and I really want to somehow give it back to her," Chrissy revealed.

"So I tried to bring it to the Grammys, but John was like, 'No! That doesn't look cool. Please don't. You're embarrassing me.'"

So what's a girl to do? Well, if you can't deliver it, open it. That's with Chrissy has started doing, and she once found herself staring at a bill from Bugatti.

"Yeah, Rihanna, you owe $18 to Bugatti, I think," she said. See what we mean about that change-of-address form?

Ellen was just as shocked as the rest of us.

"You open her mail?" she asked, letting her know that it is indeed illegal to do so in the US.

Chrissy's response perfectly illustrates why she's our new celeb obsession.

"But it's my house now! Can you not? Are we going to edit this?" she said. "This is why I can never run for president."

Don't ever change, Chrissy…but hands off Riri's mail.
