Cops seize cannabis plants worth $190,000

Police have seized cannabis plants estimated to be worth $190,000 and hydroponic equipment while arresting a man during a raid on a home in Sydney's south.

Officers from Strike Force Grassy, which targets cannabis suppliers across Sydney, raided the home at Peakhurst on Thursday and allegedly found the plants and a hydroponic set up in three rooms.

The 28-year-old-man has been charged with cultivate prohibited plant (commercial quantity), and using electricity without authority. He will face Downing Centre Local Court on September 22.
