HOW PHILLIP HUGHES INQUEST MAY CHANGE CRICKET:

* NSW Coroner Michael Barnes to release findings on November 4, which will be day two of season-opening Test between Australia and South Africa in Perth

* Counsel assisting Kristina Stern SC has submitted recommendations including:

- training for umpires in first aid and emergency management

- improved triple zero call protocols

- clarification on Sheffield Shield playing conditions regarding what constitutes "unfair bowling"

- for Cricket Australia to conduct further research on efficacy of neck guards

* Any changes by Cricket Australia emanating from the inquest are expected to be rolled out across the country, covering all elite men's and women's matches.
