Just months after a trip Down Under, 1980s group Culture Club is returning to Australia in December with its original line-up.

Singer Boy George will be joined by guitarist/keyboardist Roy Hay, bassist Mikey Craig and drummer Jon Moss, the original members who dominated the new-Romantic scene of the 1980s with hits such as Do You Really Want To Hurt Me and Karma Chameleon.

"After the success of our June visit and the huge warm welcome we received from our Australian fans, we have decided to come back and do it all again - you simply can't get rid of us that easily," the band said.

The tour is something of a 1980s extravaganza with the band scooping up support acts from the era including: Kids In The Kitchen (Tasmania, Hunter Valley) Pseudo Echo (Tasmania, Barossa Valley, Hunter Valley, Melbourne) Real Life (Tasmania, Barossa Valley, Hunter Valley, Melbourne) 1927 (Barossa Valley, Hunter Valley, Melbourne) Kids in The Kitchen (Hunter Valley) Wa Wa Nee (Hunter Valley, Melbourne) Eurogliders (Melbourne).

Culture Club tour dates:

December 6 - Jupiters Theatre, Gold Coast

December 8 - Derwent Entertainment Centre, Tasmania

December 9 - Seppeltsfield Winery, Barossa Valley

December 10 - Hope Estate Winery, Hunter Valley

December 11 - Myer Music Bowl, Melbourne
