Twenty two puppies and seven adult dogs are being rescued from a West Australian backyard breeder.

RSPCA WA says the animals will be medically examined and treated when they arrive at the RSPCA Animal Care Centre in Malaga on Tuesday.

Chief Inspector Amanda Swift is expected to speak to the media in relation to the treatment of the animals once they've been examined.
