A 65-year-old man has died in a single-vehicle road crash in northern NSW.

Emergency workers were called to Pillar Valley near Grafton about 8am on Sunday, after reports a car had hit a tree.

Police said the driver died at the scene.

The incident follows the death of a 19-year-old woman in a head-on collision near Narooma on the state's south coast on Saturday.

Her 19-year-old male passenger was taken to hospital in a serious condition, while three teenage passengers in the other car were treated for minor injuries.
