Flames down part of SA home's roof

The roof of a home in South Australia's Port Augusta has collapsed in parts from a fire that caused about $300,000 in damage.

The blaze started in a bedroom of the home at about 7.30am on Tuesday and took fire crews an hour to control, the Metropolitan Fire Service says

It is not yet known what caused the fire, in which nobody was injured.
