The Gogglebox format is about to hit the workplace in a new show co-commissioned by Ten and Foxtel.

Common Sense will follow the premise of the popular TV show by making real people the stars, but this time instead of filming them at home it will go to their Australian workplaces as they discuss the week's most talked about topics and newsworthy events.

Endemol Shine Australia are making Common Sense, which will air first on Foxtel's Lifestyle, and then broadcast on Network Ten next year.

"While the Goggleboxers provide an insight into television from the comfort of their own homes, Common Sense will head into the workplace to find what everyday Australians are thinking and saying about the issues of the day," Network Ten chief content officer, Beverley McGarvey, said.
