Guns N' Roses to tour Australia

The worst kept secret in music is out, Guns N' Roses will tour Australia.

The stellar line-up including reunited members Axl Rose, Slash and Duff McKagan will come to Oz next February.

It will be the first time the acrimonious trio of Rose, Slash and McKagan have performed together Down Under since the Use Your Illusion tour in 1993.

But the Aussie connection runs deep as Rose has been stepping in to sing for AC/DC on the remainder of their Rock or Bust tour following Brian Johnson's departure because of hearing damage.

Their popularity in Australia is long standing with their debut album, Appetite for Destruction, going platinum eight times following its release in 1987. Every album they've released has achieved platinum status in Australia and they've racked up 14 ARIA top 50 singles.

The band will be nicely warmed up by the time they reach Australia having essentially kicked off their tour in the US earlier this year including a spot at the celebrity-packed Coachella festival.

February 7 - QSAC Stadium, Brisbane

February 10 - ANZ Stadium, Sydney
