Jalal brothers pranksters turn to charity

Trading pranks for charity, controversial YouTubers the Jalal brothers have released a video showing the group donating thousands of goodies to Melbourne's homeless.

The brothers are seen filling the $600 care packages with tablets, headphones, clothes and personal care products for around half a dozen of the city's homeless.

But in true Jalal brothers fashion, the gift is delivered by a bearded man in a white robe, running off without giving any explanation to the contents of the bag.

"I thought it was a bomb at first when I saw you dressed like that," one recipient said.

In May, Mariwan Jalal and his brother Arman Jalal were forced to apologise in court after posting online videos of fake drive-by shootings.

Just last week, the brothers posted a video of fake public executions.

They are also known for public bomb scare pranks, where the same bearded man in white robes drops packages and runs off.

Comment has been sought from the Jalal brothers.
