Katie Price has vowed to stop drinking in 2017, following a foul-mouthed rant at a Christmas party on Monday night.

On Loose Women recently, the mother of five insisted she was going to do Dry January, but she’s now going one step further and giving up the booze for the whole year.

Speaking on the ITV show, Katie said: “I said before, when I drink I’m a nightmare, and it means there are stories in the press making out I’m a rowdy drunk.

It just doesn’t agree with me. I’m small so it affects me that much.

“I said I’d do a dry January, but I’m not going to drink for the whole year.

“I can do it when I’m pregnant, so what’s one year?”

Peter Andre’s ex, who was attending the event with her ex Dane Bowers, had clearly been enjoying the free flowing fizz, and swore several times as she attempted to address the room, calling them "little s**ts”, before attempting to sing Whitney Houston’s I Have Nothing.

“I’ll have two glasses of champagne, then I’ll stay all night, and catch up with everyone.

“After the new year, I’m going to give it up and prove you all wrong.”
