Leonardo DiCaprio’s Newest Doppelgänger Is an Olympic Archer

Leonardo DiCaprio's latest less famous look-alike happens to be an Olympic medal winning archer for Team USA, whereas if vaping and picking up models were Olympic sports DiCaprio would've gotten the gold way before he scored an Oscar.

The internet took notice of Olympic medalist Brady Ellison and his likeness to DiCaprio over the weekend when the 27-year-old competed, and won a silver medal, in Rio. And just like that Ellison became part of the elite club of pop culture archers including Katniss Everdeen and Hawkeye and the elite club that is being a DiCaprio doppelgänger.

Like DiCaprio, Ellison is six-feet tall. Also like DiCaprio (at least in The Revenant) he has a rough history with bears killing one at 11 years old, which he has since kept as a rug. (Though DiCaprio wouldn’t agree with the latter being an animal rights supporter and all.)

Asked about the comparison Ellison told the Associated Press he's been getting that since he was younger though he doesn't think the two really look alike.

"I've had it told to me before, even when I was younger," he said. "I personally don't see a huge resemblance, maybe besides the facial hair. He is a good-looking dude so I guess it's a compliment." He called the comparison "pretty cool."

Ellison won his second silver medal ever Saturday when the U.S. Men's Archery team came in second after South Korea.

DiCaprio's other doppelgänger has since landed himself a reality show and a vodka commercial after his newfound fame.
