LNP buys web names to stop Labor attacks

Queensland's Liberal National Party opposition has begun buying up website addresses to ward off potential Labor attacks over Newman government cuts ahead of the next state election.

Opposition leader Tim Nicholls says he is unsure of how many website names his party has registered, but they reportedly include and

"What I am sure of is that when it comes to campaigning we know Labor will do and say anything in order to win an election, particularly they will use negative scare campaign tactics," he told ABC radio on Monday, more than 12 months out from the poll.
