A man has been charged with the stabbing murder of another man during a fight in an Adelaide house that left two others injured.

A 29-year-old man from Old Noarlunga was fatally stabbed in the fight that broke out after a group of men went to a house in suburban Christie Downs on Friday night.

Police have charged a 21-year-old man with murder following the alleged attack, which they believe wasn't a random incident.

The man was refused bail and will appear in the Adelaide Magistrates Court on January 3.

"Inquiries are continuing into the outstanding suspects," SA police say in a statement.

After the fight a 21-year-old man was taken to Flinders Medical Centre with non-life threatening injuries.

A 25-year-old man went to Noarlunga Hospital with minor injuries.

Police were also called to Morphett Vale, also in the southern suburbs, just after 5am on Saturday over a car fire.

"It is believed the vehicle is linked to this morning's murder at Christie Downs," police say.
