A man is in a critical condition following another shooting in Queensland.

The 21-year-old took himself to Chinchilla Hospital on Thursday night with gunshot wounds to his chest and arm.

Police searched bushland after speaking to the injured man, who was later airlifted to Princess Alexandra Hospital.

Two crime scenes have been set-up in Chinchilla as detectives investigate.

The incident comes after two fatal shootings in Queensland.

The first happened about 4pm on Thursday when a man was shot in the stomach at a house in Brisbane's east, at Tingalpa.

The 32-year-old was rushed to hospital but could not be saved.

A man is due to face court charged with his murder on Friday morning after allegedly surrendering at a watch-house with a loaded shotgun down the front of his pants.

Meanwhile, an investigation is underway after a fatal police shooting at Freestone on Thursday afternoon.

A 65-year-old man was shot after walking out of bushland and threatening officers who had tried to speak with him, police said.
