A mini-bus driver has been charged with dangerous driving after he allegedly struck a pedestrian in Sydney's northwest.

A 32-year-old man remains in a serious but stable condition at Royal North Shore Hospital after he was hit by the mini-bus while crossing an intersection in Epping early on Sunday.

The 45-year-old driver was charged with three offences including negligent driving causing grievous bodily harm and was granted conditional bail to appear at Burwood Local Court on September 5.

His licence was also suspended.

Police are meanwhile urging a taxi driver who is believed to have picked up the injured man and another person from Double Bay to come forward.
