Man stabbed in northern Sydney pub

A man has been stabbed in the stomach after an argument broke out between two men at a northern Sydney pub.

A 30-year-old man reportedly intervened in a couple's argument at Hornsby's Railway Hotel just after 7pm on Wednesday and was stabbed by a 54-year-old man.

The victim is in a stable condition at Royal North Shore Hospital and police have charged the 54-year-old with grievous bodily harm.
