Melbourne gunman steals cash, groceries

A man armed with a sawn-off shotgun pretended to buy groceries at a Melbourne supermarket before holding up two workers and demanding cash.

Detective Senior Constable Andrew Ghidetti said the man picked up items from shelves before turning on staff at the Lorimar Street, Docklands shop at 8.15am on Sunday.

The man is described as caucasian, about 172cm tall, aged between 25 and 35, wearing a black hooded jumper, dark pants with a red backpack.
