Men go on crime spree in Brisbane

Two men have gone on a crime spree in Brisbane's north overnight, stealing a car, breaking into several businesses and assaulting two women.

Police say they started around 8.20pm on Sunday when they went to a tavern in North Lakes and kicked a female staff member before demanding money.

The men stole the woman's mobile phone and jewellery before fleeing and hitting a 16-year-old girl waiting at a bus stop and stealing her phone.

Police say they also broke into two other businesses nearby around 9pm and used a stolen a red 1998 Honda CR-V with Queensland plates 824WHJ.
