Napoli and Benfica have booked their tickets to the Champions League round of 16 while Arsenal claimed first place in Group A as Paris Saint-Germain slumped to a draw with Ludogorets Razgrad.

Napoli beat Benfica 2-1 to take top honours in Group B and Benfica went through to the knock-out stage in second place in the group as 10-man Besiktas were thrashed 6-0 at Dynamo Kiev.

Jose Callejon struck on the hour mark for Napoli and Dries Mertens made it 2-0 after 79 minutes before Raul Jimenez pulled a tally back three minutes from time.

The victory gave Napoli 11 points while Benfica remained on eight.

That was enough for the Lisbon club as Besiktas missed their chance to reach the last 16, staying on seven points as Kiev led 3-0 after 32 minutes and never looked back for their first win of the group.

Another high-scoring match saw Lucas Perez score a hat-trick in Arsenal's 4-1 win at Basel.

The English side secured first place with 14 points thanks to Perez's goals in the 8th, 16th and 47th minute. Alex Iwobi made it 4-0 in the 53rd.

PSG only needed to match Arsenal's result to grab first place but the French powers twice fell behind in a 2-2 draw against the Bulgarians Ludogorets in the French capital to drop to second place.

Lionel Messi was on target and Ada Turan tallied a second half hat-trick as Barcelona eased past Borussia Moenchengladbach 4-0 in Group C, which was locked up going into the evening as Manchester City could not overtake the Spanish and ended up drawing 1-1 at home against Celtic.

Patrick Roberts gave Celtic the lead in the fourth minute before Kelechi Iheanacho equalised four minutes later.

The other group also was set as Atletico Madrid took first place in Group D despite a 1-0 loss at Bayern Munich, who got a goal from Robert Lewandowski in the 28th minute to finish second.

PSV Eindhoven drew 0-0 at home with Rostov in the other Group D match.
