Still undecided what to do in Sydney this New Year's Eve? Fancy watching the fireworks from a boat on the harbour with your family or friends? If you have a cool $110,000 to spare, this could be reality.

Sydney Harbour boat charter operator has been "run off its feet" over the past month planning the perfect New Year's experience for wealthy clients from Sydney and overseas.

"We've been liaising with Sydney's best caterers and ensuring the boats are stocked with only the finest wines and champagnes. For the uber rich, it will be a night like no other," says Anyboat's Daniel Da Silva in a statement.

Some of Sydney's most impressive yachts-for-hire offer on-deck swimming pools, luxurious saloons and al fresco dining areas, with catering provided by a five-star chef, and staff ready to pamper guests throughout the day and night.

But while New Year's Eve prices are extreme at the super-luxury end, there are also moderately priced boats available if you're still wondering what to do this Saturday night, he adds.

"There are 1.6 million people jostling at the shoreline trying to get a view, fighting for toilets and drinking out of plastic cups. And of course there's the nightmare of public transport after it's all done. You get none of that when you treat yourself to a boat charter."

If the prices are still too steep in the wake of a decadent Christmas, you and your friends can always club together on another day in summer when prices will be considerably lower, of course.
