Ten women and nine men make up the latest batch of Tasmania Police graduates who will take the number of officers in the state to almost 1180.

After their parade in Hobart on Friday, the 19 constables will spread across the island at stations including Launceston, Burnie and Devonport.

"We are on course to deliver our promise to restore police numbers and deliver community safety," Police Minister Rene Hidding said, adding that the target is 1233 full-time officers by March 2018.
