A Sydney woman who allegedly believed her baby was a dwarf will face a NSW Supreme Court trial in March accused of the infant's murder.

Last month, the woman was found fit to stand trial over the death of her six-month-old daughter who was discovered floating in the bathtub of her home on November 18, 2010.

On Friday, Justice Peter Johnson set her trial down for March 6 after being told defence issues would include substantial impairment and infanticide, while the crown would allege she had a perception the baby had a congenital condition.
