Two men are due to face court on gun and drug charges after a police pursuit on the NSW north coast.

The pair were arrested on Friday morning after allegedly trying to evade police at Coffs Harbour before crashing into several vehicles including two squad cars.

Police will allege a gun and drugs - believed to be ice - were tossed out of their vehicle during the pursuit.

The men, aged 36 and 33, were arrested after crashing into a police car at a public reserve, with a search of their car allegedly uncovering an array of illegal drugs.

The pair were refused bail to appear at Coffs Harbour Bail Court later on Saturday.
