A group of boys have allegedly ram raided a Northern Territory pub with a stolen car during an overnight crime spree.

Police say they were forced to abandon several dangerous high-speed chases of the car believed to have been driven by a group of youths.

Just before midnight on Wednesday, the offenders allegedly stole a silver Mitsubishi Lancer from a residence in Woodroofe in Palmerston, 25 km southeast of Darwin's CBD.

Police have released security footage of the thieves, who appear to be teenagers, ram raiding a pub in Berrimah shortly after.

They escaped with a few bottles of alcohol before the car was involved in a petrol station drive-off in Bakewell at around 1.25am, police say.

"The vehicle was also captured on CCTV attempting to ram raid a Rosebery service station," Detective Senior Sergeant Rob Jordan said.

"This is extremely frustrating for police and members of the community. We assure the public that police are working tirelessly to resolve these type of incidents quickly and safely."
