The public grilling of Clive Palmer over the collapse of Queensland Nickel will resume in the Brisbane Federal Court in February.

Mr Palmer was originally brought before the court in September for questioning by liquidators, who are trying to claw back $70 million in taxpayer funds used to pay out almost 800 axed workers.

The hearing will resume on February 9 but the exact date Mr Palmer will give evidence is not yet known.
