* Caroline Emily Clark (d. 1911) - West Terrace Cemetery

Established a system that gave many impoverished children a second chance at life through new homes. It was later adopted in NSW Victoria and Tasmania.

* Ellen Ida Benham (d. 1917) - Kapunda Cemetery

Became the University of Adelaide's first female academic after taking over her father's role as a professor of natural science.

* Sir Sidney Kidman (d. 1935) - Mitcham General Cemetery

Pastoralist who owned large areas of Australian land.

* Frank Marlow (d. 1935) - West Terrace Cemetery

Known as the "Father of Football" for his 41 years in SA football administration, as SA secretary (1894-1911) and SANFL secretary (1912-1935).

* Arthur Edward Rossiter (d. 1954) - West Terrace Cemetery

Founded Rossiter's Pty Ltd, makers of Rossi Boots, in his shed in 1910. The company is still owned by his family and making Australian boots.

* Max Schubert (d. 1994) - Centenniel Park Cemetery

Pioneering winemaker and creator of Penfolds Grange
