Pete Burns spoke out about dying just weeks before he tragically passed away suddenly.

The Dead or Alive frontman passed away after suffering a massive cardiac arrest on Sunday.

The 57-year-old died just five days before his new album was set to be released after years of health problems and 300 plastic surgery procedures.

The news of his passing was announced by his management on Monday via his Twitter page.

It has now been revealed that the singer actually spoke about death just weeks before he died from a heart attack.

He recently appeared on Channel 5’s series Celebrity Botched Up Bodies in September to open up about his extensive plastic surgery procedures.

The former Celebrity Big Brother star admitted that undergoing 300 operations to change his appearance almost killed him.

He said: ‘I developed blood clots and pulmonary embolisms in my legs, heart and lungs. I got these black marks on my skin and I thought they were bruises. The next thing my driver came in and I was unconscious, not breathing.

‘I hope when I’m 80 and I get to heaven God doesn’t recognise me,’ he tragically added.
